Princess
of the Portuguese Empire - Barbie
Buy
Another Triumph!, December 19, 2002
Reviewer from Houston:
Wow! Absolutely fantastic! Let's get to the good points first! Her dress
is marvelous! Especially the skirt which is made from pane velvet. (Under
her skirt is a white linen like skirt). Her sleeves are also gorgeous
which were beautifully knit like the torso of her dress. Her hair is a
nice hue of dark brown and black lightly curled. However, like Princess of
Ireland, her hair gets tangled in the packaging. Her body type is the same
as Princess of the Danish Court and similar to that of Princess of
Ireland's. Her eyes never seem to look straight at you, however are a
dazzling shade of almond. One ringlet of her hair is tied discreetly to
her dress to avoid tangling and to show off her wondrous hair which is
crowned by a cap of bendable metal lace. Her dress is removable, however,
the third button on her back is sewn to tighten her dress. Another bad
point is her shoes. It's like Princess of Ireland's only the same color as
her dress and the cheap plastic they use for common types of Barbie's
shoes. Although she has her bad points, Princess of Portugal is a
wonderful doll! I rate her the best among the 3rd installment of this
collection! |
